Biography
My name is Mario E. Crisostomo I am a Cinematographer, Photographer, and Camera Assistant located in Los Angeles, CA. I first started photography when I had the opportunity to be stationed in Alaska. I started as a Landscape Photographer and would spend my weekends hiking and exploring the great outdoors, from Glacier Caves to the northern lights. Through photography, I fell in love with capturing these moments and sharing them with the world. My passion for photography led me to Cinematography using Drone & GoPro cameras to make short films of my adventures. I decided to attend the New York Film Academy where I received a degree in Cinematography. I have always loved movies and to be able to be a part of the process is incredible. During my time studying I had the opportunity to meet & learn from amazing teachers Including Anthony Richmond ASC, BSC, David Armstrong (SAW franchise) & Pascal Lebegue AFC. After earning my degree I continued to pursue my education at NYFA with a Degree in Photography. I am grateful to be building my career in visual storytelling and look forward to working together.
